A) As a W-2 employee, you will be paid semi monthly. As a 1099 consultant, you will be paid 30 days after receipt of invoice and supporting documentation.
29) What are W-9 and 1099 forms ?
A) The 1099 Form
The 1099, namely the 1099-Miscellaneous Income Form or the 1099-Misc form, is the tax form sent to the IRS and independent contractors who have earned more than $600 the previous year.
